Limited Warranty
Denver City Service Body Repair (herein referred to as “DCS”) hereby provides a limited warranty on repairs performed by DCS on the vehicle identified herein and on the original repair order. This limited warranty is valid only or as long as the vehicle owner named herein owns the vehicle.
Excluded from this limited warranty are defect caused by - or damage resulting from - unreasonable use, improper maintenance, additional collision or vandalism damage, or deterioration and wear resulting from driving conditions. Damage or deterioration caused by use of automatic car washes or automotive nose masks is also excluded. All parts used by DCS are covered by any warranty supplied by the manufacturer or supplier of these parts. Sublet repairs and labor are warranted, if at all, by that supplier.
This is a two-part, labor only, limited warranty, and conditions pertaining to each part are stated hereafter:
BODY WORK
DCS provides a limited one (1) year warranty on all metal work, including welding and the application of materials used in making repairs agains cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust repairs. DCS will re-repair any metal work warranted hereby at its sole option, when claim is made while the vehicle owner named herein owns the vehicle.
PAINT, STRIPING AND DECALS
DCS provides a one (1) year limited warranty on painting against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing, and excessive loss of pigmentation. DCS also provides a one (1) year limited warranty on the application and adhesion of decorative striping and decals, excluding those defects that are caused by neglect or environmental conditions. DCS will re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby (excluding rust repair), at its sole option, when a claim is made within the time periods stated herein. This paint warranty is valid only for work performed by DCS over an original factor finish that is free of defects.
The limited warranty shall be null and void if a repair is altered, adjusted or tampered with by any person not authorized by DCS. This limited warranty is not transferable.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN IS THE EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY OF PURCHASERS. THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS TWO PART LIMITED WARRANTY. DCS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY DEFECTS OR WORKMANSHIP OR MATERIAL. Specifically excluded are incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies and components that are not specifically covered by this limited warranty. Consequential damages, such as damage to other assemblies and components resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or re-repaired by DCS are also excluded from this limited warranty.
In order to obtain the benefits of this limited warranty, the vehicle owner named herein must do the following:
Present the owner’s copy of this limited warranty document to DCS before requesting warranted repairs or parts; and
Have any warranted repairs, adjustments, or inspections made only at the premises of DCS during normal business hours.
